'When this idea of Board Games Festival was mooted by our distinguised Honourable Commissioners - Elder Bethel Amabebe and Engr. Emmanuel Frank Opigo, we thought we have a chance at encouraging and reorientating the youths through sports especially through chess. For us, chess is a noble game for a noble mind, it therefore follows that we can attempt a combat on youth restiveness. The experiment has paid off. Consequently, we are going to concentrate on School Chess and create a junior category in subsequent editions'
